i'd keep the ti and hook both subs to them and see how they sound. i know that amp is 2 ohm mono stable. so you should see 7~800 watts out of it.

if you want more power then get a second 600ti.

x2 on what pedro said. JL is pricey and i'm sure you'll be happy with the PG amp. If it's not enough bass for ya then get another PG amp

    JL 13W7 Amp

I actually have had a pair of 12w7's and actually have a 600ti and a 1000.1 amp. I ended up running the 600ti to my front channel separates and my 1000.1 to my subs. I wish I had 2 1000.1 amps because my SPL wasn't as high as it could have been. I think my Expedition hit like 152DB-154DB SPL on the RTA. I was running a Large Ported Enclosure. JL's are boomy speakers anyways so to get the punch you will need the extra power to move those huge voicecoils.

The answer in my opinion is it depends on what kind of box you are using. Obviously a Large Ported or Band Pass enclosure would require less power. However if you are using a small Sealed Enclosure you will need the extra power.
Remember, having more power is better than less power.
Basically having too little power will put strain on the amp and if the amp clips you will put stress on the speakers.
They call this Headroom. It is better for your system to be able to operate without having gains cranked up. Your amps will run cooler and your subs will love you for it.
For a Monster speaker like the w7 I would suggest getting a 1000.1 for each speaker then run either a 2nd battery or a series of capacitors to help your alternator with the draw. Also make sure to use an over sized ground because those amps draw a lot of current. Make sure you have at least a 0ga power wire too just to be safe and don't splice it too many times to reduce your chances of a short.
But that's only if you want to get the most out of your speakers.
If you are considering using the 600ti you might want to downgrade to a woofer with a lower power requirement to get the most out of your system. OR even just go with a smaller sub like a 10". They will be more accurate anyways for a variety of music. The 600 isn't stable under 2ohms so if you want to get 2 be careful how you wire the subs.
you might want to look at this page to see what JL Recommends for powering these subs.

Obviously if Price is a consideration you will want to go with what you can afford. You can find used equipment online for cheap. **** when I sold my truck I sold 2 12W7's and JL1000.1 for $1000.00. You just have to keep your eyes open for deals. it's a bad economy and people are struggling. It is definitely a buyers market.

    Hope that helps.
