I just put 2 of the memphis mclass 10 inch subs in my truck in the fox box under my rear seat in my 04 f150 and i just had a couple questions for you guys. I put them in and i have a 600 watt kicker amp to both of them and so far i am not very impressed with them, the shop i got them from said they will be really loud and other people i talked to said the same thing but so far not so impressed is this mabye because i dont have enought power going to them or are they just not gunna be really loud subs? And if i were to bye a new amp for them i was looking at the BXI 1210D - Hifonics 1200W 1 Channel Mono Block Amp is this a good amp and will it do a way better job then what i have now or will it not be worth the money to get it?
    thanks guys

I never expect much from two 10's in a SEALED enclosure.

If you want loud with two 10's and a sealed enclosure than you need high output woofers designed for sealed enclosures and a lot of power.

Oh really so you dont think it will sound good unless its in a ported box? I would do that but i have no room unless i want to take up my whole back seat the only way to fit them under the seat is in a sealed box.

what he meant was, are those subs made to play in small sealed boxes? i didnt see their recommended enclosure size's.

my friend has an older memphis sub in his dodge 4 door truck in the middle of the cab in the back. running 250 or so watts to it. it sounds terrible in there. in the box he made for it, but when he put it in the box he had it in before when it was in the trunk of his wifes car. it woke it up...big time.

only thing is it was a large sealed box that didnt fit in the truck unless he didnt want rear passengers. needless to say he's looking for another sub that will work in a small box.

maybe those subs need a larger box to sound good in, just saying.
