question about port tunning

    i have a box now, tunned to 38hz. i think i want to tune it lower, maybe 34ish? i guess my question is what will the diff be? i think it plays to "high" right now would this be a solution to the sound?

    im just going to build a sealed box and see where that goes.... it might just be the subs

    i have a friend that has some power acoustik 15s, not sure which ones, but i did notice when i heard them that they hit a lot more highs than some ground rumbling lows. so it might not be the box..

    yea i was thinking it was the subs. but could the 38hz im at now have anything to do with it? i think im just going to build a sealed one and see how it sounds. then i might try and build a bigger ported box if i can figure out the design. i was gonna do 8cuft @ 30 to 34 hz. idk.
