Hello all, I have posted at CAF for a few years
and decided to take a stab over here

Any way, I am looking for a the cheapest amp that will put out 300 - 400 watts @ 4ohms
I am looking to power a ED 15K

    So far I am looking at the Crunch P2250 (130 @ ikesound.com)
    any other ideas??

I have a friend with the Crunch P2200 and it seems to put out some decent power
Also just found a bazooka EL 1500 Mono Block amp at www.returnbuy.com for about 55 bucks

I'm just curious if you know those subs can take 800 watts....
a jbl 600.1 would be well in order for an ek15 :) They do come in dual 4ohm coils right? That would be perfect B)

I got the 2ohm DVC, so I could wire to 4 ohms
since cheap amps tend to handle 4 ohms best

anyone have any real experience with teh Crunch amps??

    Not avoiding anything
just am strapped for cash :)

looking to spend undre $150 (at the most)
currectly looking @ the Crunch P2250

also, I had to Old RF punch woofers
    - 12's 2.5 cubes ported to 35hz
    now I have a ED K 15, 4.5 cubes ported to 29hz

have not had a chance to test it out
i KNOW the ED will sound better, who thinks it will be louder or quiter?
will find out in about 2 hours :)

all i got to say is

    BOING!!!!!!

it is so much better than my RF 12's
lower, more accurate, louder and a smaller box

all in same vehicle, and same amps
I will have to turn my gains down when I find time B)

    jbl 600.1 isn't expensive B)
especially if you don't mind used equipment!
