Ever try to put a Flip Out screen in a Crown Vic. I'll bet it didn't open all the way because it ran into the dash. Here is the fix, move the AC/Heater controls to the radio area and move the Flip Out Radio to the AC/Heater Control Area
All the factory wires will reach the new locations, its actually a pretty easy mod. The AC/Heater controls are simply glued to a 99-5802 install kit and then slipped into place. Really simple install
No, not really. If its left in the stock location, you can not even see whats on the screen. It doesnt open all the way because it hits the dash. The lower mount is a 100% improvement.
