Are her JL Audio Subs FAKE????

    a friend of mine purchased 3 JL Audio 10w3v2's and a ported enclosure built to specs, from a seller on craigslists today. I went with her to verify they were legit and for protection. When we got back to my car, I tested out each subs to make sure they worked and they did. Then when I sat back for a while, I thought about the product boxes that each sub came in. I've been buying JL audio stuff for years now and I've never seen these type of boxes. All of mine have been white, but this is....well you can see in the pictures below. I've also never seen the bottom of a JL sub look like this.

    ARE THESE JL SUBS FAKE???

    not sure how old are they?

    according to another forum, they are real. Just late 90's models. back when they were made in the US or something.

    Those are real... the boxes were different from the newer white JL boxes they come in but they are real.
