i have a nissan titan. i was wondering if i did a seat lift and had a custom box made. If i could fit 2 cerwin vega stroker 10s in there up firing in a custom ported box. what amps would i need and would i need a cap, battery, alternator, or all of the above.

not knowing the specs of the vega's. i would look into a sub that would perform well in a small vented enclosure for your truck.

i used to have a PRO BOX brand sub box and it was made to work well with the sub i had at the time. so look for a box that will fit then look for the subs.

that way your not stuck with a sub that needs a huge box. do i lil home work and you'll be happy you did. as far as power goes....well....thats tricky.

are you amping all the speakers or just the sub? how big IS the alt in your truck?

i dont see it being an issue if you plan on running up to 1000 watts(total power) or less if your alt puts out at least 105~130 amps.as long as you do the big 3 also.

dont forget about where you plan on mounting the amp too.

i am also a titan owner and even with a seat lift you wont get more than 7" mounting depth upfiring or downfiring and less than 1 cu.ft per side.i had a center console box made to sit in middle of seat and drop to floor and covered in leather to match seats.with a box like this you could do i stroker 10 or 12 or 2 10s but not strokers.the titan has a 160 amp alt so im running 2200 wrms in my truck with big3 and 1/0 with zero problems.
