if i had 3 subs would i be able to run all 3 off of that one amp or would i have to buy another one? how much money would adding one more sub cost me?

ya it will power them fine. you need to wire them exactly like the first model. if u wanna go 3 subs, u will want
    this amp thats black
    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_14613_Power+Acoustik+LFA1-2000D.html
or the one to match ure front channel amp

well i guess u could get the S4 subs and that would give you a lower independence so it would push more power, like 1000RMS or a little less. so ya u could prolly go that way and still be safe AND loud as balls!

if u wanna go 3 subs, go this amp from this place, its a good store and alot cheaper. this is where i will buy my amp.

and get the S4 model here.

it all depends on whether you have the room for 3 subs and the final impedance of the 3 will determine what amp to choose.

okay I'm going to take measurements of my trunk today and then Ill post it up here so you guys can tell if yall think 3 of those suckers can fit in there. if i get rid of my two back speakers, should I just leave holes there where they used to be or should I put something there?

its really up to you. if you like the sound of just the front speakers then remove them. if not. put something there.

also i should note if you go the "no rear" route and get 3 subs. you will/might need to deaden the rear shelf a bit. you can do it cheaply by getting a small roll of peal and seal from lowes.

I measured the trunk and there is no way that 3 subs are gonna fit back there so im just gonna go for 2. im pretty sure im going to stick with johny first recommendation. are the boxes that i have to make around the 6x9s hard to make?

i told a friend to use 2 shoe boxes and some peal and seal for his rear speakers. its works for him and its cheap.

his girl is a shoe freak so boxes are easy to come by for him. you may have to trim them a bit. also make sure the surface is clean so the peal&seal will stick.

hey guys ive been out on a trip for the past 3 weeks but ill finally be arriving back home on the 6th. i plan on ordering the system as soon as i get back but i had one final question that just came to mind. i drive an 04 nissan altima and looking at the stock HU on it, i thought, is any head unit going to fit into my car??? bc the space for the stock HU is quite large, i feel like there is going to be empty space left over if i put a regular HU in its place.

furthermore, im going to need help with the ported boxes. are there any VERY EASY to follow tutorials on how to build the boxes online that you guys could recommend??

now the HU will need this

2004 NISSAN ALTIMA 4DR SEDAN WITH 2.5L ENGINE AND STANDARD AUDIO SYSTEM KIT

    http://metraonline.com/productsl.aspx

thata was assuming you have a 2.5L motor and standard stereo without BOSE.

the picture on the instructions page shows a HU on the Altima with the brackets but the HU on the picture is pretty big. I dont think that the pioneer I´m trying to buy is quite that big, is there going to be space left over??

because the altima has that entire panel covering it. (the ac and heat and the side nobs for tune and vol the deck itself is pretty big.) if you hit the interwebz and snag your self a dash kit for your model it will come with a handfull of spacers and a replacement panneling for the dash. the little bracets should mount right onto the.... mounting spot on the HU adapter. it will pop right in. although I've come to notice on the last two I've done, a little snagging on the lower left side (07, and 05 models 05 had bose). but that's probably just me. also if you havnt pulled the pannel off yet watch for the little retaining clips nissan makes tough ones lol you can snag and break the peg right off.

hey I'm ordering this system right now but the front amps that I was recommended are now discontinued so now I need another recommendation of what I amp I should get.

I need to power these components:

The most I can spend on this amp is $150-$200
