Need help please

    I have a 2000 honda civic ex 2dr coupe.

    I am going to be buying new speakers and want to know if these will work, and if they are good.. iam on a very slim budget.


    i wanna get these visonik 6-1/2" speakers

    and i wanna get these kicker 6x9's

    should these fit in my civic and sound good? i ahve stock right now.

    sorry i have no idea on this subject.

    only thing that worries me is the top mount depths.

    OK, what is your max budget for your speakers? visonik really isn't a good brand at all so I would go for that. just let us know the max that you want to spend and we can find something decent within your budget.

    Generally speaking, Civics can take just about any speaker, just as long as you stick to 6.5" for the front's and 6x9's for the rear.

    I would suggest that you keep the brands the same, but thats totally up to you. I'm just anal about that. don't look at higher wattage speakers either, since you're just going to use the stock stereo which prolly only puts out 25watts per channel then you should look at speaker with low wattage.

    hey guys, yea my budget for the speakers is right around 100 dollars. And the thing is, im buying a new headunit that puts out 52w.. a sony one.

    no head can put out 52 watts x4. maybe 22ish and thats pushing it hard. then distortion will take over.

    just focus on the front speakers then if your on a budget. then come back to the rear's when you have more money.

    so what if i get the phoenix gold 6x9's and the phoenix gold 6.5's, but not the component ones, the regular ones.


    would they sound good? they are definitely in my budget

    6.5 phoenix golds in front
    6x9 phoenix golds in back
