I am looking at getting a new head unit for my Jeep and dont really know a whole lot about what the best head units for controling bass settings would be. I have always liked the old alpine Phantom Face decks one of my friends has one of those running his w7. This unit would be running a memphis m3 15. Thanks for the help yall.

I would be looking at pioneer or Eclipse. What's your budget?

just about any head with a sub out should work for you.

what other features would you like it to do as well?

i dont know i guess about 350 tops or around there. I have a kenwood deck right now not sure of the specific model number but it looks exactly like this one KDC-MP4032. I have always liked the alpine CDA-7998R(phantom faces) why did they stop production on those head units?

350 is a really good budget. I really like the Eclipse CD5100. But you can't go wrong with any pioneers that are out on the market. check out the Pioneer DEH-P7000BT.

I'm not a fan of alpine....
