im thinking of a new setup.. I want to do 4 subs in a wall in my truck.. I was thinking 4 kicker 15's or 4 btl fi audio 18s..I will be giving them around 5000watts to all 4 Im thinking of using 2 kicker 2500.1 im thinking of 22cb to work with and tuning to around 35hz.this will be a daily drive/show off setup..I have kicker so I know they are good and I like the sound but I read that fi audio is hands down better then anything more less
i know a guy that used to have 4 FI 18's in his expedition. holly crap it was loud. he had 2 sundown 1500 to each sub @ 1 ohm each or less. on average i think he said around 4k each sub. + a whole bunch of batts.
yea i heard they are sweet subs but noone has them around iowa so i can hear them before I buy them so that is a big seat back to me
in a prporly built box even a cheap sub can pound. sooo those FI's in the right box will surly pound.
yea but i want them to sound good when the beat i know kicker is loud and sounds good I dont like rock gaygate subs they can get loud but sound like ass I have a feeling fi audio is the same they look to be made cheap and marked up with a name

Honestly Im not a fan of kicker because everyone and their brother has kickers. If you want spl I would go with something other than kicker. Look into Incriminator Audio. Their DP21's are amazing.
i like Incriminator Audio but have never heard them im going soon to hear some dd sub i was really looking into those and a guy i know in kc has a set so im going to the next comp to see if I like them at all so far im thinking dd or ia maybe fi but not to hot on fi starting to like ssa
