thanks i think i like the whole polk system u recomended, i have always heard the are good speakers, i guess i will find out in a little while now. so is that sub and amp good decisions? and should those polk comps and 4"s be ran on a 2 ohm load off that PS2-420 that i picked out and the 4x10s ran off the HU?
i was lookin at 4 channel amps and i found this Power Acoustik PS4-840 - 4 ohms: 80 watts x 4 • 2 ohms: 95 watts x 4 • Bridged, 4 ohms: 190 watts x 2 • PWM MOSFET power supply • High or low level inputs with floating ground • Tri-Mode capable • S/N ratio: 97 dB • Frequency Response: 10 Hz - 30,000 i think i might spend an extra 25 bucks and have prolly better sound because of the crossovers and then i could amplify the rears too. i will wire the front comps at 2 ohms and get about 95 RMS each and then the rears at 4 ohms a piece. and they will be getting about 80 RMS.
so what should i build for a box, no dimensions yet but i was thinkin about 6 cubic feet tuned to about 34-35Hz. does that also sound good?
If you can build a box then that is always better cuz you can customize the fit for your car. what are you going to use for your sub/s again?
He and his girlfriend just broke up so he's trying to get through it. He's really backed up with box designs so i think you gonna have find another way. tune it between 33-35hz.

well, continuing our our discussion that we had in magnum's thread, i cant really turn it up that loud cause i live in a retirement town and we have sound ordinance all day. so i will play it more when i go to the city or out in the country, and as for theft i live in a small town that has no robberies or thefts so i dont think i will have to worry about that. i will probably get an alarm when the system is put in.
