I have a 1998 Jeep Grand and I getting ready to install a new amp but I'm having a little problem about where to run the power wire? Has anyone done a Jeep before? Is there a easyish place to run it or maybe drill a hole for it?I looked but didn't see any obvious places.
you having problems running amp through firewall?? you could check for any rubber gaskets before you drill
when I did mine I drilled a hole through the passenger side of the firewall (I have the 6 cylinder so there’s plenty of room there.) From there I ran it under the carpet to the amplifier. But in retrospect I would definitely always look for a rubber grommet to use first.
yes deff look for a gromet first,if you must drill.make sure you dont drill though anything electrical,and use a gromet. hell even split loom and elecrical tape,till you can get a gromet.
