I have a 98 Jeep grand Cherokee with the infinity system in it. I don't want to replace the radio ,just the amp. Does anyone know it the output from the raido is line level or low level? Also can someone suggest some good 6 3/4 for the doors? Nothing REAL expensive just something with some decent sound.I'm going ..or hoping to use my old Jenson 400x4 watt amp (say what you will but it's outlasted a 92 T-bird and 98 s-10!)

correct me if i'm wrong ,but that jenson as with most of thier amps have a speaker level in.

    why not go that route.

also whats your budget for the front speakers?

The jenson has both line level and RCA jacks for inputs so I'll probaly got with a hi-lo reducer. But if I go that route ,can I still use the pass-through outputs on the amp?And my buget is pretty much non-existant! I have some Ultra Liner from way back that are 6 1/2 inch but they just barely fit! like to have some 6 3/4 speakers but there hard to find and expensive when I do.Unfortunatly i have very little to spend so I have to go ther cheap route. I also have two MA audio 12's and two 10's. Not sure which set I want to use, and I have a Ultra liner 1600 watt amp for the subs.(yeah I 'm sure it's not REALLY 1600 watts, not for what I paid for it - not even sure I want to use them) I was thinking about puting some speakers in the rear door if I can find the room. I want to move the "sound" more to the rear of my Jeep. I can't stand it all in my face.I was thinking about using the front door and dash tweeters on the radio and using the amp for the rear. I was hoping someone had done a Jeep like mine or helped to maybe give me some advice. I'm driving myself nuts thnking about WHAT to do and how to do it. But I'm REALLY getting tired of singing to myself!
Stereo's have come a LONG way since my lastbig project....spend $800 on my s-10 and thought that was WAY to much!!lol:
