Sub not working in car but if tookin and hooked up to my stereo in side it works kx60

    ok so i have a crv kicker sub installed by circuit city. last time it just quit workin they said i blew it and they replaced the sub now about 3 weeks later it quit working again so i took it out and hooked it up to my jvc stereo and it works great but put back in car on my kx600.1 kicker amp i doesnt work. i have 2 amp channels amp1 and amp2 my door speakers are working fine but the sub isnt :( im tired of dealing with circuit city they are a bunch of idiots so i hope yall could help me.. is it a wiring problem??? k thanks for the help

    have you checked the amp?maybe you blew a fuse in it or maybe the amp.

    ooooooo ... don't let best buy or circuit ****y install anything in your car. we do alot of repairs from these goofballs (in montana).

    check your ground, 12vdc input and remote on the amp with the stereo on. you should have continuity to ground, 10.8 -14vdc at the pwr supply and 12vdc at the remote. if you don't get any of these backtrack on your wiring till you find the problem. if your amp is turning on and you don't have any sound, check the patch cables and make sure they're hooked up at the head unit.

    if the amp works with the other head unit, that's the only thing that i could think of why your having problems.
