i can tell ya that an AC to DC converter would do the trick for ya but im not sure as to how to hook it up and what wires, you would have to look at the connector schematics for your specific cd player.

All you would need is a power supply...atleast 15 amps

Hook the power wires up and ground wire up...wire it to some speakers and your set...its not too complicated

whoooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! 240vac will fry a 110vac, ac-dc converter. 240vac uses two legs of 110/120vac and 1 earth ground. have a qualified electrician just wire up a 110vac outlet off of your 240vac plug (you might have to up the circut breaker for that plug in your box). it should be relatively cheap. then plug your converter into that outlet.

I did a 10 year stint in europe with the army as an aircraft electrician and we had to rewire all of our connexes for the european voltage 220. all we did was change the plugs out and add the extra leg to the wire harnesses for all the plugs. that should fix your problem. .... lol .... be sure to waterproof the area around your converter and the cd player .... be a shame to do all the work and then ruin the head unit or worse ... fry your :ban::ban: and anybody elses in the tub. good luck.

    good plan brad,

If you DONT know elecrtical, then hire an qualified electrician.

240 volts AC can kill, just as easily as 120. But whatever you do, be sure to include at least a GFCI outlet running the thing, and preferably, a unit that is NOT right next to the tub, one that you have to get up out of to change the tracks!!! or better yet, get one wiht a remote!!!!!!!!!!!

If it was me, the sytem would be 12 volts DC all the way....with a power supply off to the side a LONG ways away from the 12 volt sytem.......I have been hit by 12 volts DC, it aint bad really..I have been hit by 480 volts AC.......it wasnt pretty..suprised i can still think...or even type for that matter!
