I just go some new tweeters (INFINITY 1011t) and have them hooked up to a JVC KS-AX3300 2-channel amplifier. I originally had it hook up to a subwoofer but the amp was not powerful enough for the woofer. There is a constant fuzzy staticy noise during all music it the static is even there when there is no sound like when its paused or between songs. does anyone know what the problem could be.

Sometimes it happens when something isn't connected all the way... (experience with different speaker hookups.)

sounds like alternator wine.does it go up in pitch with the motor running?

what is your amp mounted too.mine did that after i had them screwed to the floor of my suv.

had to use plastic washers to isolate the amp to metal.

no it doesn't go up in pitch with the motor running it does it even with the engine off and just the stereo on.it is mounted to the trunk floor onto the carpet.
