just finished hooking up my subs and amp, have good group, good power, getting power to amp, turns on and all, remote and rca's are hooked up, pos and neg are in right places, but i am getting no sound (from subs), i have checked all fuses, they are all good, and even when i turn up bass on the the head unit the lights dim like they are getting a drain, any ideas?

First of all, welcome to the site!

Are you running 2 subs? And if so, are they moving, but create no sound?

Duel bandpass box, 2 subs, no sound, no movement, even with bass maxed on head-unit and amp

UPDATE: ok this is a little weird, i tried my brothers subs, work perfectly, so i took apart my box made sure all wires were good, to speakers and on speakers, i tried going directly to sub cause there bridged. nothing! and without changing anything i hooked the speaker wire up to the other subs and worked perfectly, so is there any way to blow a sub to the point that they dont do anything? no sound.... cones in good condition everything looks fine

Re these single or dual voice coil subs?

It sounds to me like you have them wired out of phase.....If you can, post pics showing the wireing on the subs and any other associated wireing...

yeah...sounds like they wired out of phase.

Blasting the system with the subs out of phase is a quick way to fry the coils.
