I installed a bulldog remote starter on my van. I have keyless entry already and I am using two seperate remotes. One for keyless and the bulldog remote to start the vehicle. My keyless used to work great but after the remote starter was installed I have to be right up on the car to get the keyless to work. Can anyone help me on what to try to fix this. I hooked it up just like jbs technologies and bulldog says to. I would appreciate the help. By the way the van is a 97 pontiac montana. THank You in advance for the help.
    PS I love this site.

I wonder if it just might be a Coincidence thing. Make sure the antenna on the keyless is streched out and away from metal (it should not lay on metal).

Do you have two remotes for the keyless, if so is the other one also affected? I wonder if the battery in the transmitter is weak?

I have replaced the battery in the remote. I havent touched the keyless system since it is factory. I was wondering if the antenna for the remote start might be close to the keyless antenna.

Relocate the remote start antena in a different "plane" If it is vertical, move it to a horizontal position, and vice versa.......

This has too do with wavelengths and frequencies and propogation....I dont want to even give a full explanation here!!!

Just give it a try, would take a few minutes....
