2 12w7 in a ported box

    i know you guys seen my installation should i get a ported box for my 12w7 i have 2 of them with 2 1000/1 in a 2002 lincoln ls. can you tell me the advantages with a seal and ported box.

    i have one 10 L5 in a ported box and love it.i also had it in sealed box.the ported gets louder and deeper.

    i would say ported.

    w7's are mostly made for ported boxes (imho). I've heard both. I would go with the ported box if you have space. I love how deep the w7 gets. i have one 12w7 in an H.O. box. sounds great.

    i believe you because every audio shop i called in my area had told me that thats all they put the w7 in. so what im trying to figure out is why did they put mines in a sealed maybe because i didnt have the trunk space but now their trying to put it in now. so maybe they were blowing smoke up my ass

    Maybe they don't want to build a new box? idk. But it'll sound better ported.

    man these w7's hit harder than the sealed box really showed me the potential of a w7 with them in the ported actually there rectangle slots. but they hit so hard but you could tell that the seal hits different notes.
