I'd like to arrange a car audio show, it seems to me they are very few of them. thinking just a small gathering, in a parking lot, at a ice cream stand or open field. Something just to get neighborhood street beaters or those who install custom system's can get together and show off their best system, does this sound like a logical Idea, or would it flop?
Planned in advance, you should have no problem. First find a place large enough to fit in a few cars. Get permission to use the place you pick out. Get a few sponsors to help pay the bills. What I do is have T-Shirts made with the names of all the sponsors. (about 200) These T-Shirts are given away, the day of the show until we run out. They love advertising. Flyers are also made up and placed all over town. The flyers should list any contests, competition and any prizes that might be associated with these competitions. Most of the time we are able to put on a show with very little money, love our sponsors. Contact your distributors, many will gladly make prizes available. We can usually even convince a couple of local vendors to show up. Food, prizes, scantally dressed girls (pick late May or early June) freindly competition, what more could one want
Bikini contests/wet tshirt contests are ALWAYS a help to any event when the primary target audience is predominatly male.....yes, sex sells, alwyas has, always will. As Ranger said...look for sponsors...radio stations are a good route to go.....If you are starting a new buisness, and want to advertise with them, they generally will do a few onsite promotions at your event each year at no charge. Also look into half naked chicks in next to nothing....Oh, i alreadyt said that...nevermind!
Drining contest, naked chicks.......I am THERE!!!!!!!! Might also consider things like free hot dogs and coke...
Girls wearing next to nothing, what kind of society, do you think we live in ? What does woman have to do with car audio, not saying, I don't love the ladies. The whole car audio show would be chicks gone wild instead and everyone would forget the reason were there.. ...
yeah...but half naked chicks and car stereos cannot be beaten. I mean we would have a fun time checking out other peoples stereos and setups while at the same time having fun with half nekked chicks

haha...yes the Italian Job was a pretty good movie...I remember an old episode of Howard Stern where this "hypnotist" guy could give anyone and orgasm by poking them with his finger lol
if you get it organized, just be sure to post it EVERYWHERE online and locally.... most shows lack any sort of promotion, and wonder why nobody shows up. and be sure to let me know, there are a few MI customers that would show up
