How do you wire 2 dual voice coil subs I just bought a rockford fosgate P6002 Amp. I am gonna hook it up to 2 Memphis
dual voice coil subs. How do i do this without makeing it 1 ohm. The amp is 2 ohm stable. I don't know much about this
Any help will be appreciated. Do you have to use both voice coils??

    One more question

My amp certificate says: 237 RMS watts per channel @ 4 ohms
    768 total RMS watts @ 2 ohms

How do i get it to 2 ohms??
What is the best way to wire this stuff up.??

if that amp is only stable to 4 ohms mono then wire each sub into 8 ohms then wire them together for 4 ohms.

or just wire them as 2ohms per channel in stereo

like dave said while i was typeing this

your amp will put out its maximun power either at 2 ohms stereo or 4 ohms mono...that 2 ohm rating must be per channel and combined.
