Have you persaonally listened to all them? Cause what I tell you I think is the best will be someones elses bastard child. ANY speaker can be a good one if put in the right enclosure, yes, even a 8 inch 29 dollar radio shack special......BOX BOX BOX!!!!! that is the key!!!!!!!!!
Also...please refrain from using "SQL" You can't have 150+ db AND sound quality And as Viking said...its a lot about the box
how about a set of image dynamics.i remember reading about them alot in the stereo mags back in the day.
Have run a single solo x 12, soundedlike as, god loud.... I have my 8102 on order, waiting for either 2 200001 rf or two pca2000d
The pioneer and JL would be two of the greatest subs. The JL has more sound quality and less SQL than the pioneer. so the pioneer sub would be louder, but sound less clear. If your going for a good system, then buy the JLw7, but if you just want db levels. then go with the pioneer. I have a 12w7 run by a 500/1 and it is louder than my friends two solo x t's running 4200 watts. so kicker is overrated I think and most people will agree. RF sucks balls. AND... i've done work on impala's --- and the trunk space ain't crazy big. I mean, i just don't think you could fit two 13w7's or two of the SPL's . not witht the right air space that is.
