You do some nice work!!!! but i have a question for you....you say you pressure test each box to 100 psi........ On a 10 x 10 peice of wood, that is 10000 pounds of force. I have NEVER seen ANY wood take that kind of pressure. Sorry Tech that is NOT POSSIBLE. A tractor tire can blow at lower pressures. Even at 10 psi a 10 x 10 surface area would have 1000 pounds of force on it. A MDF box with even 2 layers of matte and resin would explode in your face. Please, be realistic and accurate in your sales pitch. Some of the idiots out there might buy that, but I wont. And i wont back anyone who makes such outrageous claims........
thank you. i actually quit my daytime install jon today. so if anyone needs an enclosure please hit me up. I am planning on puttin some of my kick panel skillZ to work and offering some for the vehicles i own.
let me explain i do not hold the pressure . i use 100 lbs to check for leaks . i do not expect it to hold that pressure. you know turn the compressor to 100 lbs start shooting it into the enclosure through a small hole .. you will know in about 10 seconds if you have a leak. i guess i need to change the wording on that. it could be a little misleading. and believe me i am not hear to create anymore audio myths . There are plenty of enclosure companies doing that already. I do not need hype. my enclosures speak for themselves. And i am not saying i am the best at what i do. I just make sure i do it as perfect as i can and try to make sure the customer gets more than they expected. There are to many companies making false claims already. And i apologize for that. But i was sure if there was anything wrong someone would bring it to my attention rather quickly.I did not even read it that way, because of course i know what i do.So thank you viking for pointing that out.
I see what you are doing tech!!!! I cannot apologize for what i said, but I can say that we have both learned from this. Realistically the box wont see more than about 3 or 4 psi.....thats all it takes for a leak check. Like I said before , you do some nice work. Now that this is cleared up, i hope there are no hard feelings!
not at all . i actually had a friend build the web site (a customer) and he did not understand what i was saying. and of course i read it like i was doing it so i do not catch it. i just reread it as you did. and i see the problem. LOL that would be one hell of a sub enclosure. more like a submarine. thanks for bringing it to my attention. and thats exactly why i posted it here. And of course no hard feeling at all. i get about 50 phone call and emails a week of companies telling me things their products will do . that i know unless they have a leprechaun or magic is impossible. And i do not want to fall into that category.
i have probably built 1000 glass enclosures easily. i have never built one that thick. that trelly blew me away. damn fine enclosure. And it was his first go at it.this guy is a perfectionist majorly.
me either when glass seperates it is not pretty. Also viking i had my web designer change the wording. thanks.
Tech12...i got a correction for ya "All enclosures can be covered in either carpet, vinyl, or painted. We may recommend a certain covering for your particular application due to the location of the enclosure. For example: vinyl and paint show scuffs and marks more. Carpet in enclosures will be placed under seats and can be kicked by an occupants feet. We carry all major auto companies’ factory interior color of carpet of vinyl. And we match it as closely as possible. We can not guarantee perfect matches due to different yarn and dyes and the effect of sunlight on your interior, but we will be very close if not exact. should be "We carry all major auto companies' factory interior color carpet and vinyl"
