I have a 98 Grand Prix. 5.25" in the doors would like 6.5" if anyway possible without cutting on the car. have a Rockford 10". Need 2 5.25" or 6.5" if it can be done - 6 x 9 in the back. HU and an amp for the sub and front 4 speakers, 1 amp or 2 I don't care. Looking to spend no more than 500.00
with that budget.. you want four speakers, a sub amp, a 4 channel amp.. and a Headunit? no way. impossible just get a headunit and a sub amp that'll equal 500 bucks. try kenwood, pioneer, alpine for the HU. and alpine, pioneer, RF for the sub amp. good luck. keep us posted
Here was what I was thinking with the 500. 130.00 for the Kennwood HU Dave showed, 157.00 for 5.25 and 6x9 Polk db series, 70.00 for the Blaupunkt amp Dave showed and 120.00 for this amp, http://www.cardomain.com/item/JBLCS604. Thats 478.00 shipped. Can anyone do better or is the system I should go with for this price?
So you HAVE a 10" sub already and you NEED a pair of 6.5's, a pair of 6x9s, HU, amps to power it all for less than 500 dollars.... let me do it

Thanks Dave, I came up with the same HU as you for 130.00. The Blaupunkt amp you recommended for the sub at 70.00, a close out JBL amp for the other 4 speakers at 120.00. 5.25 and 6x9 Polk db series speakers at 158.00 for 478.00 total.
