A local store said they would do my back 2 back windows and my rear window for $150. Is that a good price or should I look around some more?
Yes I think that is a pretty fair price. Usually to tint a trucks 3 windows (sides and back glass) which is very similar to your car is $100-$150. I was given a price of $150 to do my 3 windows by a very good tint shop. Mark
i want to get my windows tinted. i think it would be cool. i don't want to do the the black tint though. i want that mirror stuff. not all the funky fading colors but just a mirror tint. i think that would look sweet.
Yeah that is a good price. I got all my windows (excluding the windshield, very illegal) on my 98 Accord 4 door for $200 plus $50 for a life time warranty which is a great price. Love the look of the tinted windows, I'd say go with it and get them done.
I want to get all the windows tinted like you except I wont be able to pass inspection and with all the other exterior mods it will only be a pig magnet. Hopefully this little PBA card will do the trick. How do you plan to pass inspection?
Be careful who you go to though and don't cheap out for like 20 bucks. The guy you did my tints did a really crappy job and i'm not happy at all with them. I payed 200CND.
car inspection that you do every year. I dont know how it works in Canada but here in AMerica you have to have your car inspected every year and if it doesnt pass then you are screwed and cant drive your car.
i live in minnesota and i don't have to have anything checked. the goverment doesn't do emissions checks out here anymore.
bmas is correct, we don't have to get anything inspected here in MN. So I don't have to worry about that and I also have never heard of anyone I know saying they had to get their car insepected. Let us know what kind of inspection they do just so we can all know. Thanks
Basically they test your car for emissions and everything else possible to see if it is street legal. Basically if you have anything that is not street legal you are screwed.
my whole vehicle is one big illegal mess....inside and out...and here, i can get all my windows on my jeep tinted with any % tint i want for around 100 bucks..
I am so screwed. I dont think having only the back windows tinted is cool but If I do all of them I am also screwed. MY car already is a cop magnet.......... I dont need any more.
