Hey all, I just installed a mid's and high's amp in my car. I am running a pioneer deck, with a alpine amp. I am using my stock speakers right now. I installed all this in my 01 mustang. I ran all my wires and rca's. Now when I have speakers hooked up to the proper channels, I can't hear the main vocals in the songs. I can hear the instrumentals perfect, but the vocals are basically gone, you can hear them very very faintly. I tried adjusting the amp, but with no luck. I really need some help here people . what pioneer deck? i'm not sure but i think pioneer makes a deck with a karioke feature.i may be wrong.
Did your Mustang have a Factory Amp in it? Did you run new speaker wires to each speaker? Most (but not all) Mustangs use am amp to power all of the 6 x 8 speakers, the deck powers only the tweeters. So if you tied in behind the radio, you only tied into the tweeters. The rest of the speaker wires are located at the amp. If this is the case, the best way around it is to run a wire to each individule speaker. If you ran wires to each individual speaker, then I might wonder if one or two speakers are out of phase. (AZN there are miss spelled words and bad grammer)
Re-wired the whole car. I am thinking that this might be a deck problem now. I am going to trouble shoot it tomorrow. But other then that. Nothing of the old mach system remains.
Mach, remember that each door has two pairs of speaker wires giong in. To rewire your would need to run each speaker wire into the doors. Any way let us know whats up.
