Well...he needs the cool neon lights to be fixed...they don't work and his friend told him that the neons add an extra 1000 watts. lol just fukin with ya cali
lol thanks... acually thoses lights are so brite that I cant even see out my back window at night! (great idea Hifonics) lol.. I checked all the connections and it was working fine for weeks. then, eveything went dead on the amp no output, no lights, nothing.. The fuse's are fine and I checked both sides of the fuses' they have power when it is all connected. but that's all nothing elese. thanks for the link...
Those guys were great at AudioTekx .. Great recommendation! Thanks Viking! I had my amp back and repaired quickly. Another good thing is that during the process they always replied to my emails that day. I highly recommend them if you need any repairs. customerservice@audiotekx.com
Damn...we don't see this a lot around here. People asking a question, we helping them, AND them coming back and telling us how it went lol
I too will whole heartedly recommend Audiotekx, they did a super job and turned my rare Orion XTR-200 around in 1 day. It took Fedex longer to find his business. My amp had some leaky caps in the power supply it is 10 years old after all, they cleaned the PCB, replaced the caps, tested and had the unit back to me in no time. Fast prompt communication through the whole process, and it only cost me $50 total. Hell I have my Alpine 7998 at United Radio right now and they have had it since 10/25 they just got it done on 12/1 and their communication and updates are the worst! This place is supposed to be a 5 star Alpine Service Center and ISO certified. Apparently that does not mean much when it comes to the service you actually get.
My total cost was 80.00 plus shipping 1 way. I think they have a set price depending on wattage. Thats for the repair. I belive to to see what what's wrong I think it will just cost you shipping both ways.
