work with a few of them... live next door to a lodge.. seriously i look out my bathroom window into the side of the lodge...
WHOA!!! petey is the house!!! yeah thats a masons lodge next door.. generally pretty quiet, but they fire up the grill every now and then for charity cook offs and it fills up my parking lot...
do a search on the internet...there are many myths/controversies surrounding the free masons. our current president is a free mason by the way...
go watch the movie "From Hell " If that tells you anything......not exactly what I want to be a part of. I'll stick to my own religion thank you.
i don't know that movie...but from the title and your post i'm assuming it was saying they were satanic or something. If people would do some damn research on their own instead of believing anything the media/entertainment industry spews out they would crap at all the lies and myths that are floating around. Freemasons were NOT satanic.... here i'll even give directions... go to http://www.google.com now, in the search field enter freemasons when the search returns a list of results read a bunch of em (shouldn't be hard to figure out which sites are full of poo and which are pretty professional). From that make your own consensus...
Well, not satanic, they just believe in things that I dont, or their beliefs differ from mine, and it is not something that I car to be involved in, ....thats all I just posted that movie cause that is the first thing of the top of my head......just watched it very recently.
ah ok, gotcha but you don't just walk into their organization....unlike religion (it's not a religion anyway).
I remember at my grandpas funeral the masons had some sort of ceremony type thing that was kind of strange. It was very solemn and very serious, but i don't remember everything that they said.
Oh and I think that most masons are in some kind of trade. (pipefitters, electricians, carpenters, and other stuff like that)
masons are christian, my dad is one, well now a shriner. theres different levels of masons, and once you reach hose levels, you get a different name with them, and the 32nd level is shriner, like the circus or hospital. samre people, they arent bad people at all.
yeah, George Bush (our president) is a freemason from what i have heard...and my great (great-great?) grandfather was one also. My grandfather was showing me his bible one time i was asking him about the freemasons. He also kinda verified that once you are a freemason you don't get out...and don't divulge ANY information they deem secret...seems people that do have "accidents".
ya ive asked my dad what they do at meetings and he wont tell me(and were pretty close). so they take it pretty damn serious.
WOW, sounds awesome, so if you tell their " secrets ", they kill you...... Where do I sign up?? Hell, that kinda sounds like the russian mafia.
