http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid/120858/rpem/ccd/productDetailReview.do I don't have alot of room in my truck(reg cab Chevy) and was thinking of getting this. Anyone know anything about it?
those are pretty good little setups, although I'm not as fond of the new kickers as I was of the old, but you're really limited on space.. I would suggest looking into the solbarics (square) though, especially the 8's. they do great in a small space, and pack a hell of a punch for little dudes. a little more expensive, though.. but IMO well worth it giving your space restrictions.
I know they make the same box with the square sub in it for 100-150 more. Do you think it is worth it in a truck with such a small cab?
I have a friend who has a jeep wrangler with one solobaric 8, and I'd be lying if I didn't tell you that it sounds like two tens. You get more surface area with a square woofer, and they have hellacious magnets on them. It's the only kicker that I'd buy for a small space.. and you can get a better price online.. just search ebay for sl8 and see what comes up.. ps.. I hate circuit city
kickers, jl's, have small space subwoofers, although, any sub can usually work but youve got to spend money on a box from a car audio store, they will be able to mold a box in the vehicle, i had 2 12"s in my single cab ranger!!!
