    Well that worked:)

I sort of installed the amp and the subs and they sound pretty good. How would I really kow if I was using all 400 watts on that amp? They can get very load when cranked, if it was 200 watts i guess it would be a little less in your face;)

As I said I just sort of installed them so once I get them installed properly and tweek them a bit I'll be a very happy man:)

Once again thanks for the help.

ok so I hooked everything up last night.. I put each speaker on its own positive and negative cuz you said its mono no matter what.. now here's my delema... I turn my volume up loud in hopes of being heard down the block.. Its very loud inside but once i get out and i close the door i can barely hear it.. just alittle rattle from the trunk.. So my question is how do i make it louder outside so everyone hears it.

    Lets get one thing straight.....

ANY rattleing, vibration, etc from your car just means that you are LOSING SPL in your car.............

Now, one additional thing you need to know, the lower the frequency, the longer the wavelenght, therefore the further the sound travels.....

Did you try rolling the windows down for that block away bass you are looking for?
