I did buisness with them years ago, ordered 4 12's and a couple of compression drivers for a stack i built for a good freind of mine for his Marshall head (guitar stack) Had no problems with them, they sell a good product at a good price. i would not hesitate from buying from them

I just got a set of PPI DCX 124 off of UBID for 62$ each brand new a few weeks ago. I looked yesterday and they have the same ones as well as some Alpine type X and R subs. They also had some Alpine amps there as well. Throw in a low bid and see what happens. Ive bought a boat load of stuff from them and only had 1 problem when someone in fedex jacked my kicker solobaric woofer and box, but they promptly returned my $$.

Just checked ubid right now and they have a Kicker 10 inch L7 in a Kicker vented box running at 2 ohm. Its rated to hanle 1050 watts for 169.00 with free shipping and when I looked there was no bidders, it was also brand new. But then again im not sure your amp will run at 2 ohm.

That auction was only open for like another hour and a half.

A kicker L7 rated at 1050 watts??? Not really

I had a Profile Baja HA1000 for about 8 months...for 100 bucks I couldn't have asked for more...it surprisingly pushed two 12inch type r's pretty well...enough to set off my friends alarm...lol...pretty rugged amps.

With about 500 watts rms I'd get one of those Daytons and put it in a nice vented box...I even have a vented box designed for it on WinISD if you want the specs

what did you come up with on the box design, just curious?

Well its mainly designed for a big trunk...because I have an explorer I designed this box kinda on the big side...its 4.2cu ft with a 42in^2 port 16.5 inches long...tuned about 35Hz. Peak at 39Hz and an F3 of 28Hz. Given 600 watts rms it doesn't unload until 30Hz which is fine because music is dynamic and not static so its unlikely the cone will go out of control unless you play some sine waves that are below 30Hz

Have another design too also...2.3cu ft tuned to 35hz with a 28 square inch vent 22 inches long...F3 of 24hz and cone doesn't go out of control until 28Hz.

The huge box is just something I may build for the hell of it if I buy one

Anz, What does Kicker rate the L7 10 inch subs at?? The one I saw on wooferetc was rated at 1200 peak and I think 900 rms. Not sure but I think that what it was. Im not trying to d#4@ with anyone, just trying to save a bro some $$. I know money is hard to come by these days. Ive always gotten good deals from here. Sometimes you just have to be patient. If you can find differant specs on these subs let me know where you found them.
