FYI..........fer the helluvait............ Mo. has been a right to carry state for some time..... Next couple of months I will be getting my CCW permit (concealed carry).....looking forward too it. I have a few handguns ready for use...an old airlight .39 S&W and an old .44....both awesome in their own rights...... I am not a gun crazed nut, just an ol hilbilly ready to protect my life and my families....thats all.......I have been carring both a remington wingmaster 12 ga. sawed off (legal length) and a .44 in my truck for quite a while, always loaded with one in the chamber since my state allowed it......... Its good to know that I can defend my family and property in this state.......Legally. Oh the stories i could tell since I have carried!!!!!!! I have prevented 2 possible "mishaps" just by the appearance of my sidearm......never had to piont it at anyone............
I am not a nut either, but I do not like small bore weapons 1. Colt M1911A1 2. Colt Combat Commander 3. Colt Gold Cup 4. Colt Double Eagle all 45's of course Shot Guns Remington Defender 12ga Remington 870 with fold away stock and pistol grip.
Well...I'm only 18 so I don't really have any guns yet...well I have a couple but they are attached to my shoulders and are legal firearms but I really do like Benelli Semi-auto shotgun...well ever since I saw a guy on TV throw up 8 skeets and shoot em all down before they ever touched the ground...that was a sexy gun
I also have a ..44 black powder pistol, replica, navy colt revolver. the thing is amazingly accurate and absolutley devastating for what it is. Also have a Chinese made SKS, modded for 30 round clips, as are most. Way too many .22's. An old compound bow. Then their is that "air canon" i have in the shop!!! LOL!!!!!will shoot a 3/4" x 3 inch bolt about 450-500 yds.!!!!!!!! at close range (30 feet) the same projectile will go through 1.5 inches of plywood and sheet metal siding...............I like it!!! Runs off of the air compressor @ 120psi.
Damn...thats nice...all you need now is to fabricate some kind of thing to make that air cannon a revolver
Pretty good at hitting the period button on the keyboard for an old hillbilly. Same here. I sleep with a glock .45 on my nightstand. In the middle of the night, the coons feel my wrath when they threaten the safety of my trashcan.
Please Be Safe! Speaking of guns, a subject near and dear to my heart I personally have a small asrsenal of my own I won't list every gun I have there are like 30 some of the more impressive are my Sig .357 remolded to take a 17+1rd mag instead of the standard 12+1. My DPMS CAR-15 chambered to a .308 intead of a .223,I have a FN P90 Civilian Model on order at a local gun shop, and what is termed "an English Goose Gun with a 1.75 inch Bore I swear it looks like a long version of the old Thumper M79 Grenade launcher they used in vietnam. Best self defence pistol in my opinion is anything compact in .40S&W or above .45's set the standard, for protection you don't need a High cap mag most .45 Autos have 8-12 rds in each mag,( if you need more then 8 rounds to hit your target you shouldn't be shooting a gun), revolvers give you a little bit more punch since none of the gas is trapped to work the action. Furthermore I should say that guns are not toys or cool things from the movies, I am posting this information for persons who intend to be lawful and safe, anyone thinking of getting a gun should take courses on gun safety and obtain legal licences to do so. Different stats have different laws you should be aware of these as well, you can find a book called Fire Arms Laws of the 50 States from most online bookstores and it is very cheap for the knowlegde it gives. Be safe!!
guns my dad has a cheap 22 its not strong unless you put the worlds fastes bullet in it then the thing kicks ass. i have a 410 5 shot shotgun always loaded
I think the fastest round, at least for public use would be the .17 HMR The 17 HMR (Hornady Magnum Rimfire) ammo has a 17 gr. hollow point (filled with polycarbonate) boat tail bullet with a 0.172" diameter and delivers a muzzle velocity of about 2550 fps (depending on the barrel length). The muzzle energy is 245 ft-lb and with a 1-10" twist, the bullet is spinning at 183,500 rpm. And its smaller than a .22 BTW
