Find a clean spot and drill a hole...then use a grommet

nice clean install! good job. where did you end up running the power wire through? Also wondering, why you installed the tweeteers so far back on the door as opposed to towards the front?

I think part of it was becuase that the tweeters would lean against the door paneling. But actually where it is not a bad location. We had thought that this would be the best location. It does sound very nice.

I have the crappier Profile Baja HA1000.

For $77 dollars ($96 total w/ shipping) this amp is pretty good...had it wired at 3 ohms bridged (old school JL W6) and it never gave out...for what I paid for mine I couldn't ask for more...Also had it powering a couple Alpine Type R 12's and it somehow was loud as hell...sound quality was alright also. Only thing is that these amps are that efficient and pull a good amount of current.

My battery gauge would drop a lot more than with my current 800 watt MB Quart RA2400.

Ok...but yes how do those California ones sound????

They sound great azn. CD's are very good. I have my mp3 player plugged into hte AUX in on the stereo. Been using this setup for a while now due to the mega late response. I don't have a sub in it but this one amp powers all 4 6.5" CDT speakers great.
