I'm looking for students to join our Installerfest team at the San Pedro Skills Center. (San Pedro, CA) The Installerfest 2006 will be held at the Extreme Autofest (www.extremeautofest.com) show in the Pomona Fairplex (Pomona,CA) on October 22,2006. The sponsor will be Sony's Car Audio division. There will be prizes and trophies for all the competitors. The tryouts are to test the students effort. If the effort is there the technical side is easy to teach. Sony is the sponsor because they were the best manufacturer that was willing to step up and help the schools with sponsorship. There sponsorship includes equipment for 4 cars, prizes for 20 competitors, and trophies.
Yes, exactly. If the installer really wants to compete the competition will be fun and the competitors will learn a lot. 3 of the spots have been filled but there are still 2 spots left if anyone is interested.
