I drive a 2001 VW jetta and im looking to put a system in it.....im looking to spend up to $600.00. I mainly want just 2 good 12" subwoofers and whatever else I need to get that awesome Quality bass sound...PLease send me suggestions since im new to this....I would greatly appreciate it, thx
Well for 600 dollars, I would buy 1 12 inch kicker L7 with dual 2 ohm coils, then run it in 1 ohm powered by a Hifonics Brutus BXI 1606 D amp. Dont forget you are going to need power wire, minimum 4 guage with a battery terminal, rca cables, fuses etc. Just dont forget these things in your budget I have this woofer and it pounds just fine, And in a car as small as yours it should really rip. good luck and have fun
Kenwood KAC-9152D would work also...can get it for under 200 at onlinecarstereo.com I would suggest Boston Acoustics subs...just my opinion.\ Are you looking to be the loudest or do you like clean sound quality bass?
Im just looking for a clean sound quality bass...half the thigns you guys just said i have no idea what they are, honestly im a total noob at this...It would be a huge help if anyone could kinda price it out a little and suggest where to buy? and get installed?.....thx
