I am curious, what are the x-over point for your subs and tweeteers?

I like the box, looks like it was done right, what is your port tuning frequency btw ?

i know we tuned the box to 32 hz

They're these special new subwoofers that haven't hit the scene yet. They reproduce frequencies down to 15hz and up to 5khz accurately. No need for ssf even. That's why he doesn't need any mid's. They're really expensive, I'm saving up for two of them myself.

    LOL!

I know you are making fun of his system! But, he may like the way it sounds, and thats all that matters....

FYI, some home audio speakers I have built use nothing more than a 12 and a 1 inch dome weet have sounded "accurate" in several tests. Its not that haard to get a 12 to play 2 or 3 KHz and even beyond....

imaging and directionality become an issue, but they sounded very good.....

Now, a 18 inch sub............hmmmmmmmmmmm, maybe put a whizzer on it and then it would be good for the upper registers!

Yes I've heard of 10-12 inch speakers and a tweeter...This is when you get into the full range speaker and carefully designed enclosures.

-are my personal favorite site all about full range stuff.

Looking to build myself a set of full range speakers for my home stereo in the near future. I personally like the warmer sound of full range speakers.
