2 12" infinitys and a kenwood amp

    Actually Dynamat is a sound deadening material, it quiets the inside of your car but its main use is to keep your car from rattleling like crazy when your subs are hitting. Its great for your doors but you got a roadmaster so your pretty well deadened already. I would put some around you trunk area to keep your trunk from shaking. Are you running a crossover on all those tweeters? And where the heck do you have them mounted??

    as far as the tweeters i have 3 on each of the front doors and 12 in the back facing to the front ( they are on the back deck between the headrest)
    and i disconnected the factory speakers and wired 6 to each of those.

    as far as my alternator how to i go about picking one?

    another question

    im trying to order second skin damplifier but how much would i need to just do my trunk ? how do i calculate the square feet?

    no i dont have a crossover by the way



    but see i dont want to quiet the inside of my car i got the tuning perfct its just the "flexing" on the side of my trunk thats it

    bottom line, "dyna mat" and similiar products only do so much for dampning. Its great for quieting the car and such, but in any serious spl system, IT WONT WORK! Their are other Extreme methods of sound deadening that involve welding, concrete, epoxy, spray foam, insulation, lead shot, and many other items.


    dynamat will get you off to a good start, especially on larger surface areas, but dont expect it to make your car rattle free.

    To get square feet you do what i told you before and for the rectangles you do LxW and for triangles you do width times height divided by 2. You add all this up and if you measured in inches you divid by 144 to get square feet.

    well i just went and bought the dynamat and put it in the car i spent 300 bucks wow!!!!! its not a big difference it helped a lil but i still can see the flexing and i dont like it and its not like it s up loud its sounds loud but to me its not ive never turned my dial thingy past 13 and my **** hits

    Um...I'm surprised those tweets haven't blown yet without a crossover.

    So basically you are sending a full range signal to those tweets? How's the bass response on those? lol

    well i check them like every other day cause there are so many but to my knowledge none have blown and as far as the bass response if i turn my subwoofer level down to mute on my HU and only play highs i can turn them up to about 36 before they star to get kinda fuzzy and distorted:D :D :D

    they sound damn good alsp

    trust me i kno i dont care about others opinions(when it comes to listening because everyone has there own preference) but yea they soung awesome to me

    If your going to install 4 subs and 18 tweets... you NEED another battery, trust me, you'll go through altenators as often as you fill up your car with fuel. good luck
