If you are just changing the factory speakers and NOT adding an amp do you need to add Hi-Lo Converters?
No, Hi-Lo converters are for adding amps If you are just changing speakers all you might need are factory speaker wire adapters, available anywhere car stereos are sold. You don't NEED them, you can just cut the wires and hook them directly to the speakers (solder or crimp spade connectors) but if you plan to remove them when you sell the car, I'd recommend the adapters. They only cost $10 or so and will make putting the factory speakers back in much easier. Hope this helps. Mike
