I have a box with 2 subs, but since I had an extra amp and box, I decided to buy a 12" "Punch" sub a couple of years back. Recently, the "Punch" sub broke, so I'm looking for some recommendations on a 12" Sub. Here are the specs for my Amp:

    Kenwood KAC-X520

    125 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms
    250 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms
500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms in bridged mode
    stereo or bridged mono output
    Tri-Way capable
    infrasonic filter (15 Hz, 24 dB/octave)
    50-200 Hz crossovers: 12 dB/octave high-pass, 18 dB/octave low-pass
12 dB bass boost variable from 40-100 Hz (expandable to 6/12/18 dB when connected to a
    preamp outputs

Can someone please help me out?

how much are you looking to spend? are you looking to replace two 12's in the box? is the box sealed or ported?

I'm looking at a lot of the "good" 12's and the amp would be under powering them.

I suppose you could try Rockford Fosgate Punch Stage 1, but I'm not fond of fosgate anymore.

y NOT? My old 12" was a Punch sub. It was good until it broke, but it lasted a good time.

Because RF sold out and IMO are Crap today

Although last year they starting making Head ways back to their roots but too little to late for me. I will never own a RF product again, However if I need to fry some eggs I know what to buy:lol::lol:

Give me a Price Range and I will recommend some things for you. Also size and type of the Box you want to use would be helpful

Look into JL 12w1's, if you got the single 8 ohm version and then paralelled 2 together to get a 4 ohm load then bridge it. the subs are rated at something like 175 rms but you can put 250 rms through them all day. i think a pair on ebay is like 180 but dont quote me on that. the output is pretty good and sq aint bad either.

My cousin has two P2 12's and they sound pretty nice in a sealed box. Probably a little better if the box was ported. Between the two that you wanted i would suggest the RF P2. Also this sub can handle more than 200 rms.
