I am completely new here and I have a major question. I’ve been building a setup I think will be good, and was wondering if it is going to cause issues for a long term system? I heard some of it once before I left for Iraq, but it was a different setup. My current setup is run off 4g wire with a circuit breaker and multi fuses, a Diamond Audio d6600.4 amping my Polk Audio MMC6500’s (in the doors) with some cheap pioneers(on the deck) that came with my car and a Alpine MRP-M35D amping my Alpine SWR-1242D with a 1Farad Cap (don’t need it) in between my Amps. I plan on using the Infinity Reference 7541a (111w RMS x4 at 4ohms/278w RMS x2 bridged output at 4ohms) bridged to my Polk Audio MMC6500’s(10-125w RMS/FreqResp 43-25,000Hz) up front, my Diamond Audio d6600.4(75 x 4RMS @ 4Ohm/300 x 2RMS @ 4Ohm bridged) bridged to my Infinity Kappa 652.7i (2-75w RMS/FreqResp 45-25,000Hz)in the deck, my Alpine MRP-M35D(400WRMS x1 @ 2ohms/220WRMS x1 @ 4ohms/50-200Hz) amping my Alpine SWE-1242(50-250WRMS/FreqResp 32-1000Hz), and the Cap (just in case) near the splitter. Or should I ditch the Diamond Amp and just run the Infinity to all 4's? Like I said my goal is long term sound quality and I am installing some sound deadener just haven’t researched which brand yet. .
The Diamond amp is a WAY better amp than the Infinity...even if the Infinity is newer than the Diamond. I would either keep the Diamond and use it later, or use them both, but ditchin the Diamond is not a good idea. :huh:
Not really ... good example if you get a sony Xplo amp with 400 watts rms and you get a Kicker's amp or eclipse amp at 400 watts peak the better qulity amps ( kicker and eclipse ) will out beat the sony amp .. Diamonds been in the game for a while so they know there stuff ...
