Any one has any good suggestion on a budget $250~ $300 removable, Clean & Hard hitting bass? I need my truck space for weekend grocery shoppings and as Airport shuttle for frequent family visitors, so removability on a dime its my number 1 concern. I also pertty picky about my bass, well not as picky as before but I don't want to spend too much right now as I'm still shopping for another car perhaps a Honda Oddyssey for my weekend duties. Thanks.

With that kind of budget I wouldn't expect real "clean and hard hitting". But my recommendation to you would be a bass tube. It's been years since I've even heard one, but I was cruising with a friend that had an 8" Bazooka tube and it totally surprised me. They're relatively small and would be easy to uninstall when needed and take out, plus they're under/around your budget.

What kind of vehicle is this going in? Is the 250-300 for a sub or sub and amp and wires?

Not yet. I've finalized my selection and decide to go with complete revamp of the system except the OEM HU on my ML500. All my parts are still in shipping. Now I just need to figure out a way to install the 2 10x20 amp and the sub into my SUV without loosing any storage space.

just kidding! I really wanted to recommend the kicker solobarics, just because the smaller (lightweight) ones sound unreal. easy to tote and sound magnificent (for the space they require). I have a pal with one 8 in a ported box in his jeep, and it hits like two tens. But your stuff is on the way, so I'll leave you alone.. and remember, I was just kidding!:)
