I was looking at the MTX amplifiers at Circuit City, and to tell you the truth, I can't get more than 30 bucks off of the retail price on the MTX amps, it sucks. The P. Miller Mono block amplfier that we carry is the RSA800.1D It is supposed to do around 800 watts at 2 ohms, and is 1 ohm stable. I would have to dial the gains way down for the Infinity Perfect 12 I am looking to power. I guess that Southern Audio Services Inc. is the company that makes the amps for Bazooka, and I am wondering if this company makes descent amps. If they are descent amps then I am going to get the mono block, I can get it for $180! So even if it doesn't put out what it is rated at, even if it puts out 200 watts less I would still be giving the Infinity Perfect a ton of very clean power. I bet I would have to put the gains at almost zero. OH and on a side note, can you guys see my avatar? I sometimes see it and then sometimes don't. Thanks for the help guys! ;)

Oh and by the way, I would be hiding the amp out of site, I think that the fact that they have "P. Miller" across the amp is just tacky looking, but for the price I'll hide it away (like I would have done with any amp I bought). I don't want my stuff getting stolen, a stealth install with pics for you guys is in the near future :boxing:

SAS is bazooka, in the same way Stillwater Designs is Kicker

I have never used on of their amps, but from reports I have read they are not bad at all

I've dealt with a few bazooka amp installs and had some friends use them as well...never had a problem at all....I'm not sure that I'd go for one as a comp amp but for a sub amp it wouldn't hurt at all

Thanks for the help guys, I am happy to hear that at least no one has said that they have had problems with the amps, I am pretty excited to have everything stealth in the ride and then tell people that I have a P. Miller amp running my stuff, so many "serious" car audio guys laugh at bazooka, but if the stuff does the job then it works for me. ;)
