Help with amp plz

    Hi, im plannin on gettin an infinity kappa sub which is 4ohms, and a rockford fosgate amp which is bridged and says will run at 300 rms at 4ohm wen bridged. is this ok or am i goin to do damage? Im only runnin teh sub off the amp. Thanx :lol:

    You mean this Kappa?

    If so, I suspect it will be fine. Don't go crazy with the gains though as RF does underrate some. I know Infinity had some issues with their subs a couple years back (particularly the Kappa Perfects) but they have currently worked through the issues.

    But, I might suggest the Perfect. I know in the States it can be had for ~$125-150 (not sure of the conversion rate bud, sorry) and the Kappas for ~$90-110. For the extra money, I would suggest the Perfect is well worth it. I used to have a pair, they were very nice ;) .

    cheers for that mate. Yeh its that kappa sub but in a box (works out at about ($180) which is one of the reasons im gettin it (looks better than normal custom box) Cheers for your help anyway mate, much appreciated

    It's usually understood that the sub will be in a box of some sort :).

    Yeh but this is a specially designed box by infinity, not made by myself :p and u can get free use subs to put into ur parcelshelf :rolleyes:
