I got an Idea!!!

Lets have a section for dumbass questions forum. Here we'll post (or move) the ever intelligent "What amp for a 67 camaro. I don't know what subs I will be using yet but...", or maybe the "What is the best sq sub out there?" questions there!!! I know though those ?s drive me apeshit.

Seriously though guys. These are people with questions. The dumbest questions are those that go unasked. Eventually the people uninterested in learning will fall out and the guys that are learning, will be great additions. Hey, I once said "Sony CA rules. I like my Bandpass Sony Xplod setup" too. Didn't you say something like that once?

 

Might be something to put in the FAQ if it becomes a big enough problem.

Radio Shack Subwoofers. Jensen TAPE player, and Walmart Brands Speakers with optimus amp


Plus (this tells you how much i know) they were in a HOME tower I had and added another hole, like 1/4 board



They may be Dumb questions but no one woke up a car audio master, I still have alot to learn even though I consider my self to have more the average knowlege in this feild

If you don't like it- don't go there... nobody is making you. I don't see the point in pissing on the place just because you have problems with it.

I see 3 threads alone on the first page on hating on CAF, why?

 

i am with ya man

for the first few days after i registered i was here everyday. just seein what was goin on.....then all of a sudden the i hate caf stuff was all over....so then i back off to when i get time....and i have not even been a member for a month yet.

i was thinkin this place was gonna be a nice place to visit. mayb learn and share. now who knows. not into the flaming.

I think it is just the defectors leaving and finding a place to complain about it. Besides, it's no different than Sony hate, RF hate etc. now is it?

The big names all seem to have jumped ship. I can't remember the last time I saw Totoro there. Therealsystek is gone. Geo spends alot of time here.

It seems to have gotten awful slow there too.

Everybody seems to know more than everybody else, and you're a stupid ass, and your equipment sux, and on and on. Yeah I want an answer, but I don't want to help you. Flame, flame, flame, flame, flame.

It all seems to have changed quite a bit. It was where I started my voyage into the tech aspect of it all. It really was a GREAT place to go.

I got tired of it all and rarely take time to go over there anymore. Now we are gaining a decent following here and everybody has that link between them, that of CAF defectors. It gives them something to talk about.

I'm not too keen on all the bashing, but at least it isn't outright flaming of an individual, so I say it's OK. As long as it stays in the WOT forum.

If it comes to outright direct flaming though, I say it needs to be stopped.

 

I reccomend you stay out of the WOT forum. This is just a place to BS. We do all the real stuff up top, in car audio talk forum. If you want to learn, please stop in there. I promise there will be no bashing of CAF there. I'll make sure of it.

We need a good mix of moderation and free-will here, I dont want a Over_policed enviroment like some forums nor do I want it to be out of control like others

Well that is a curious standpoint, but I see allowing negative commentary about another forum as nothing more than promoting a overall derrogatory feeling about this place because by spending your time pointing fingers at CAF, what do you look like yourself? To someone that is new to this place, to come in and see all the finger pointing about what is going on "over there" and how they are behaving, I'd personally stray away from here based on just that alone. It's like bagging on someone that doesn't have the ability to defend themselves, it's just outright rude. You always go to the source and voice your opinion, not somewhere where the souce of the issue doesn't have any idea what is happening. From where I am sitting, you are allowing the outright attacking of CAF by your actions, and the owners/staff have no ability or knowledge of this to respond to your accusations/accounts.

To sum it up- I don't agree with you, and that is my view on this subject, take it or leave it.
