Hi, I am buying a full audio setup for my Honda Civic from Woofersetc.com This is what I was thinking about, but I would like to see some other suggestions ☺ I need to buy the woofer in Iceland, so that decision can’t be changed. SWR-1542D - Alpine 15" Type-R 2000 Watt Dual 4-Ohm Subwoofer ZRS-1502 - Cadence 600 Watt 2 Ch Competition Amplifier CXS64 V2 - Image Dynamics 6.5" 4 Ohm Component System RUB1.1000D - Soundstream Monoblock 1000 Watt RMS Rubicon I am willing to spend about 300-400$ on the speakers, if you guys have any other ideas around that price. And the Ohm's - is there anything that I should change about them, so the system sounds better? And if somebody knows a good sterio with illumination keys(I have a orange dashboard) on this website, I would be very thankful The only illumination keys sterio I could find was the CDE-123R, but on the woofersetc website there is only a CDE-123. I read a review online from a guy that was complaining about the lack of illumination keys of the CDE-123 sterio. Also, I was told that the DEH-6300UB - Pioneer would do the job - I will probably buy that one if there is nothing else Hope I'm not asking for too much, thanks in advance!
As far as the impedance of your sub, if your only using one dvc sub, maybe change that to 2 ohm 's if that amp is ok with a 1 ohm load
I think you can visit " i got banned for spamming" Compare those products.Maybe you will find some different things.
I did what? Thank you for the reply! So, change the subwoofer to 2 ohms - how do I know if the amp is okay with it? And there is nothing wrong with having a pair of 4 ohms speakers with a 2 ohms comp amp, right?
Impedance ratings for amps are to let you know what kind of load you can put on it in ohms. most amps are ok with a 4 or 2 but some amps are good with a .5 ohm load. if you have an amp that is ok with a 1 ohm load, you can put a 2 or 4 ohm load on it. But i really wasn't making a suggestion, I was just giving you options. when you lower the load you gain power but pay for it with sq. it all depends on how you want your system to sound. I just checked and it says 1 X 1000 watts @ 1 ohm... sweet
