Alright - Hello guys! I'm new here.

I bought this box for £20 along with the Longmill drivers, not bad for the price but the drivers are not as good / nice as i want. And they have definitely had better days!

I've been looking at the JBL GT4-10 sub, i was hoping to get a pair of them into this box :

YouTube - LongMill PSR410 - Quick video of them in action, not that amazing i know and a poor sound quality... But oh well.

    So my questions are -

Will a pair of GT4-10's be to much for that box?
And what amp would be best to power them? Thanks

I really like this box, and really don't want to go down the route of building a box.
Would also like to mention that i bought it second hand for £20, not new. It's not a pre-fab box.
It weighs a bloody ton and the wood is atleast 3/4inch thick.

It is a pre-fab box, but it's a good quality. And i don't really need anything more extreme. Neither can i be arsed to make a box. But i can tell you it's solid and sounds pretty good.

It's nothing like those pre-fab boxes you find on ebay at $30 made of mdf, with speaker mounts.

£20 is around $35 mark, it was second hand off ebay. Was pickup only and was a three day listing. It was a gamble and worked out to be well worth it.

What would be the best amp for a pair of JBL GT4-10s?

Do you have a budget?Any amp that puts out 500-600 wrms at 2ohms will be good. The first amp that comes to mind is the alpine mrp m-500.Solid and clean power.
