I just bought Kenwood KDC -BT945U. I installed it fairly easy.

However, for some reason audio is playing in 1 second music/silence intervals. At first I thought that it was only on the bluetooth, but then I tried radio and got the same result.

Head Unit actually stays on, but the audio comes in 1 second intervals. I also noticed that when I pull out the radio and adjust its sitting, it would start playing without any problems. But then, at some point it would go back to do it again. I still have not pin point when and why it starts, so any ideas are welcome.

    Wierd.

    Thank you for your help.

I wonder if you have a bad speaker and its causing the unit to go into protect mode.

Hard to diagnose because the audio is turning back on, so here is what I would do. Disconnect all your speakers. Turn on the radio, Then hook up one speaker. Is the audio going in and out? If not hook up another. Get the idea.

(Do not short radio speaker wires together or to ground while your doing this)

    Lets see what happens

One additional thing. Are you using hi pass capacitors on the speakers running off of the HU?

No, I am using regular replacement speakers with the original Acura wiring

Then go with what Ranger told you as a first step. Its a process of elimination
