Help me Please. I have 2 MTX Terminator 12"s with a Pioneer 760 watt amp. My Head unit is Pioneer also. Anyways...My subs sound great UNTIL I turn the volume over 30...? When the bass hits if the volume is over 30 the song just cuts off. I dont know if its too much power or my ipod sucks but it ****es me off. With my previous system(2 audio Bahn 10"s with 250watt amp) I could turn it up over 40 with no problems. If you have ANY suggestions feel free to give. =)
It sounds like a voltage or ground problem, the gain adjustment is off on the Pioneer, or you're running a too small gauge power wire to the amp.
Dvc or svc subs? Is the amp a mono and how many watts at 1,and 2 ohms? where is the gain set on the amp? Is the going on protection,thermal?
