Looking at a Precision Power PRO104 10" subwoofer but i haven't heard much about them.

Looks like a solid woofer but as i said, i haven't heard much about them but i'm into trying out new brands...I'd be using two of these down to 1ohm if it matters....both woofers would be getting approximately 600 watts RMS...at least for a few more months until i get my other amp, then they'd both be recieving about 1000-1200 watts RMS

Here are the specs on the woofer...

10" Dual 4 ohm Pro Series Subwoofer
    Power Handling:
    Peak: 2000 watts
    RMS: 1000 watts
    Tri radius symmetrical edge surround
Single flat interlaced Conex spider with loop stitched tinsel leads
    Custom cast aluminum frame
3" High temperature copper voice coil wound on an aluminum voice coil former
    TriCool voice coil cooling system
Rubber wrap around two way mounting gasket
    Dual gap motor
    Custom impedance jumper system
    Sensitivity: 81 dB

    Thanks in advance!

I dont own the subs you have but I do own a pair of DCX 124 subs. They are good subs, very beefy and heavy. Good sound quality but they need a lot of power to push them hard. PPI does build decent quality stuff, nothing like they did back in the day but still good.

PPI is not a new brand. they have been around for 20+ years. like mentioned above, they arent built like they were back in the day.

sorry i shoulda classified that a little better...i meant new to me. and yes i know it came off as me thinking they were a new brand...shoulda typed it different

does anyone have any experience at all with this sub? good or bad. I know i've heard from a few guys their new stuff isn't like their old stuff, but is their new stuff worth looking at or is it a waste of time and money?
